A Directoire-style marquetry desk resting on four tapered legs ending in bronze sabots.
It features two drawers in the frieze. The beautiful marquetry is decorated in a Greek key pattern. The top is covered in original tan leather with wheel-tooled decoration. Gilt bronze mounts form drapery at the corners.
Early 20th century.
