"Coppa Aurum" plate, bowl, or centerpiece, for Distillerie dell'Aurum, Pescara, by Guido Andlovitz for Lavenia, artistic section of the S.C.I. (Italian Ceramic Society) Laveno, circa 1935. Strong earthenware, cast, Vesuvius glaze. Production marks on the back. Wear consistent with age and use. Literature: Rossana Bossaglia, Enzo Biffi Gentili, Massimo de Grassi, "Guido Andloviz designer and artistic director for forty years of Italian industrial ceramics: 1923-1961," Edizioni Della Laguna, Grado, 1995, p. 52. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
