Chair No. 2 from the Thonet catalog is one of the oldest and rarest models. It began to be produced around 1850! This particular one was made after 1918 and is unconventionally with a plywood seat and not, as was usual for this model, with a pedigium seat. Which is certainly user-friendly. Restored, minor repairs made, new polish - shellac. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
