A superb quality early 19th Century mahogany breakfront bookcase, the stepped moulded cornice above four large glazed doors opening to … Read more A superb quality early 19th Century mahogany breakfront bookcase, the stepped moulded cornice above four large glazed doors opening to reveal two adjustable shelves inside each section, the bottom section having four flame mahogany panelled cupboard doors, with two drawers above the central doors and a faux drawer either side, having decorative turned handles, the doors opening to reveal a single adjustable shelf in each section, the central cupboard having  two pull out slides above the shelf.  The front of the whole bookcase having highly decorative carved decoration, supported on a plinth base.  The bookcase is in excellent condition and each door has workable locks and keys, superb mahogany colour.  Circa 1840.
