The pieces can be used to display vases, statues, or other prized treasures. They could also be used as side tables or plant stands.

The art deco style pedestals are made of wood overlaid with beautiful mahogany veneer on the sides, and diamond match mahogany veneer on the tops. The pedestals have an elongated octagonal shape with crown moulding on the bottom. One of the pedestals is stamped Ethan Allen; the other pedestal is identical but unsigned.

The late 20th century pedestals are in good vintage condition. The pieces are solid and substantial. The veneer is rich and glossy and beautifully grained. There are some flaws on the veneer including scratches and finish wear. The crown moulding on the bases also have significant scratches, and one section of crown moulding has a bit of missing wood. Each pedestal measures 23" wide, 15.5" deep, and 29.25" tall. See less
