Handwoven Vintage Moldovan Kilim with Floral Medallions in Warm Terracotta & Rose
This beautiful handwoven vintage Moldovan kilim showcases the romantic folk artistry of Eastern Europe, celebrated for its expressive florals and harmonious color palettes. The warm terracotta-orange field is richly adorned with symmetrical floral medallions, scrolling vine motifs, and stylized blossoms that create a lively yet balanced composition.
Soft rose, coral, and dusty pink flowers are complemented by leafy greens and subtle taupe accents, all framed by an intricate border in deep burgundy and charcoal with delicate geometric detailing. The overall design has a painterly quality, characteristic of traditional Moldovan kilims, blending folk charm with refined decorative appeal.
Flatwoven from wool, the kilim has a supple handle and a gently aged surface that speaks to its vintage character. Light, even wear enhances its authenticity while preserving the clarity and vibrancy of the design.
Color Palette: Terracotta, burnt orange, coral, rose pink, olive green, sage, burgundy, charcoal, and soft cream highlights.
With its warm palette and floral elegance, this Moldovan kilim is ideal for designers and collectors seeking a statement piece that adds color, texture, and Old World charm to bohemian, traditional, or eclectic interiors.
