Add a touch of gilded elegance to your wall with this pair of Italian gilt wood sconces. They are in remarkably good condition, but there are a few defects that I need to point out. The left leaf of one sconce appears to have gotten broken off and reattached (refer to pictures 9 and 10). I didn't even notice this until I examined it in bright sunlight, so the repair was done quite well. The back of one sconce has some white paint on it (refer to picture 13). Both of these sconces are marked "Made in Italy" and a style number 1850 (refer to picture 16). The wiring is intact for both sconces, but there are two different colors of wires in back, gold on one sconce and black on the other one.
There is no label on these sconces showing the manufacturer. On the back of the circular plate, there is a label with the style number and "Made in Italy" (refer to picture 17). They are covered in actual gold leaf and not just painted a gold color.
