This square stoneware ashtray reflects mid-century ceramic production by Treasure Craft, the California pottery firm active throughout the 1950s–1970s. Measuring approximately 7.5 inches wide, the piece incorporates molded cigarette rests along the perimeter and a concentric circular impressed pattern at the center. The glazed surface presents a segmented distribution of earth tones, a palette associated with Western studio-influenced commercial pottery of the 1960s.
