Offering this beautiful antique Chinese lacquered wooden storage box, traditionally used for transporting gifts, food, or a bride’s dowry during wedding ceremonies. Crafted from wood and finished in a rich green lacquer, it features a fitted lid with distinctive “horn” style handles that also serve as practical carrying grips. Decorative brass hardware reinforces the structure and adds an elegant accent to the piece.
This box dates to the late 19th to early 20th century and displays wonderful craftsmanship and patina from age.
