3 hours of biking clockwise.
I follow the dice religiously at the beginning, and as the piece progresses I allow my own compositional opinions to take over. It’s a dance with the dice. I still shake and read their numbers each time, as it’s a guide for me to follow or ignore.
I have a pickle jar with 4 dice in the pouch of my overalls, the 2x 6-sided dice chooses which of the 6 buckets of paint, the first 12-sided dice determines the blend between them. The last 12-sided dice decides the shape of path that I bike.
The name is from train stations in Berlin along the S41 line, which runs clockwise, the same rotation direction that I bike.
