These vintage … Read more A French pair of carved wood demi-lune wall console tables, with marble tops, from the mid 20th century. These vintage wall-mounted tables from France each feature a half moon shaped top marble top (with squared accents projecting above each leg), over an rounded apron which houses a single drawer at center carved with various foliate accents, and both bead and ribbon trim. The tables are presented on a pair of curvy chandelle carved legs, with petite hoof-carved feet with tussled hair carved about the ankles. The tables retain their original painted finish and marble tops. Note that there is a slight color difference in the marble tops (please refer to the additional images). The tables are made to be securely mounted to a wall for safety and added stability. This pair of mid-century French marble top wall consoles will make fabulous accent pieces, with a shallow depth of just 10 inches, they are perfect for displaying art or perhaps as drinks tables.
