A stunning vintage circa 1931 black glazed china teapot with silver plated lid and frame, from a mystery hotel/restaurant. The lid is marked with a G in a cartouche and the Latin motto Pro Bono Publico, which translates to “for the public good.” In excellent condition, no dents or damage to the silver and no chips to the teapot body. Marked on the base as made by Lenox, marked underneath the lid the silver frame is made by Blackstone silver Co.
Measures 4 inches tall by 6.25 inches from spout to handle.
