Offered here is a Greenwich Workshop® MasterWork™ giclée canvas titled Mystic Power of the War Shield by acclaimed Western artist Howard Terpning. This piece is hand-signed by the artist and consecutively numbered #12 of only 55, making it a scarce collector’s edition.
The composition is dynamic and dramatic, with riders surging forward through dust and light in Terpning’s signature realism and cinematic scale. A striking statement piece for Western Americana interiors, collectors of Native American-themed Western art, or Greenwich Workshop collectors.
Before he turned to Western painting full time in the 1970s, Terpning spent 25 years as an illustrator and painted more than 80 movie posters, including Cleopatra, Doctor Zhivago and The Sound of Music.
