The top … Read more From a Texas estate of world travelers - the most beautiful nest of tables I have ever seen. The top of each table has a 1” deep exquisite carving of men on horseback, with each one a different scene. Each table top has trim wood on all four sides that hold in thick pieces of glass so that the carving can be seen, but protected from dust and scrapes and also provide a flat surface to hold glasses or art objects on the top. The four pieces of glass alone weigh over 10 lbs.; so it is very substantial! The sides and backs of each table also boast heavily carved scenes. The largest table measures 26” tall, 20” wide, and 14” deep. The medium table is 23 1/4” tall, 16 ½” wide, 12 ½” deep. The small table is 20” tall, 13” wide, 11” deep. The smallest table is 17 ¼” tall, 9 ½” wide and 9 ½” deep. Each table fits perfectly inside the next larger size. The legs of the tables and trim still have a good finish on them while the carvings have a soft patina. There is a little expected wear, but the tables are in excellent condition.
