Hand-painted in a rich, saturated palette featuring large-scale florals (typically peonies, chrysanthemums, or exotic blooms), scrolling foliage, and often birds or butterflies in vibrant cobalt blue, turquoise, emerald green, sunny yellow, and coral red on a creamy white ground.
