This exceptional pair of antique leather club chairs dates to the late 19th–early 20th century and exemplifies classic European “cigar chair” design. Featuring deep, low seats, sloped arms, scalloped backs, and turned bun feet, these chairs were originally designed for gentlemen’s clubs and smoking rooms.
Upholstered in original vegetable-tanned leather with a rich, timeworn patina, the chairs display beautiful cracking, wear, and tonal variation consistent with age. Nailhead trim and substantial hardwood frames add to their authenticity and durability.
