A cyma curve slant drop front vintage secretary desk is below the shaped top and opens via chased brass hinges to reveal serpentine pigeon holes and two small storage drawers with turned brass knobs. The small interior drawer construction features a nod to the late-17th and early-18th century practice of placing the drawer bottom wood grain front to back. The desk does lock and comes with a key. The key escutcheon features a fan and scroll motif executed in repousse brass.
Below that is a shaped top over cyma curve edged bombe three-drawer chest.
The three shaped drawers open by tugging on the cast brass rocaille bail pulls featuring Flemish scrolls, fans, and fuchsia flower motifs. The bail pull brass scutcheons feature a stylized chrysanthemum motif.
The carved apron at bottom features Flemish scrolls meeting in the center at a foliate cartouche.
The four feet are carved in a mid-to-late Queen Anne period hairy lion paw and ball style.
The back is an oak wood panel.
The desk was made as a homage of early-18th century styles popular during the William and Mary, Queen Anne, and Early Georgian periods. The bureau is very well constructed.

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
