A beautifully preserved antique English white milk glass pedestal compote, attributed to Challinor, Taylor & Co., featuring an elegant open lattice rim and a finely hand-applied enamel floral motif decorating the interior well.

The compote is crafted in crisp, bright milk glass with a sculptural pedestal base and classic Victorian latticework. The softly colored enamel decoration, applied only to the interior, displays gentle age-appropriate wear, consistent with original period decoration from the late 19th century. When empty or lightly filled, the motif reveals itself subtly, adding charm and depth to the piece.

No chips or cracks observed. Light surface wear and softening to the enamel consistent with age and use. No repairs.
