Here for consideration is a truly imposing pair of vintage zinc lamps, with classic architectural columnar form. Very clean lines and simple design. Likely French, though unmarked.
Solid zinc. Extremely heavy, weighing nearly 25 pounds each. Beautiful patination and surface texture throughout, expressing a lot of character. Would make a wonderful addition to a number of room styles, particularly a garden or sun room.
Currently fitted with US wiring but Euro-style sockets. Tested, but only one works. Recommend re-wiring with updated components as desired. Original shades are badly damaged, and thus not included.
Aside from wiring issues, the lamps are in excellent vintage condition, with expected patina to the metal and age appropriate wear throughout, as intentionally designed.
Measures 5 1/2" square by 19" to the top of the socket.
