Sharp looking 1950's modern coffee table designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar Furniture of Berne, Indiana......solid ash wood frame, with … Read more Sharp looking 1950's modern coffee table designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar Furniture of Berne, Indiana......solid ash wood frame, with black formica surfaces on each of the three levels......versatile design and size that can be used in a variety of spaces within your home----a traditional coffee table, a drafting table, a storage/shelving piece......endless possibilities! ....very high quality piece, as is always the case with Dunbar......signed with a green Dunbar metal tag on the underside, which dates the table to the riod......good condition overall, particularly considering that it's such an early piece......there are light scratches to the top, a couple areas of minor finish loss (light marks) on the top (see photo 5)......the table presents well, and is very heavy and solid......you'll see in the photos a page from a Dunbar book of mine that references the design.......overall, a great early Wormley/Dunbar piece..
