These 8 vintage mid-century modern cocktail napkins were designed by Georges Briard. They retain their original box, and feature a design titled 'The Higher You Go The Harder You Fall'. A mod graphic pattern featuring a hot air balloon is surrounded by celestial images and colored in black and gold on a white background. These napkins also feature a black machine-stitched border. The title of the pattern is written in gold script across the bottom along with the Briard signature. Even the pink and black box is a work of art!

An absolutely fabulous gift for the mid-century loving host or hostess.

Measurements: Napkins are 7.25" x 5.5". Box is 7.75" x 6" x .75"

Condition: Both box and napkins are in good vintage condition. The napkins do have some light loss of color and pattern which varies from piece to piece and does not overly detract from the design. There are no holes, loose threads, or tears and I see no major stains or odors (I have not cleaned these napkins). The box is also in good condition with no tears, scrapes or scratches. It does have light scuffing from storage. See less
