Etched Nicaragua Central America Hand-made Pottery Vase w/ Fish Decoration Vintage
Great vintage condition. No damage, breakage or crazing. This is a beautiful vintage pottery clay vase from Central America. Handmade in Nicaragua, the fish decor is hand etched, hand painted. Gorgeous earthy tone colors. Great Decor for home or office!
This is not signed, however, there are many artisans from the village of San Juan de Oriente, Nicaragua, a village with a long history of pottery making. This is a Nicaraguan folk art pottery vase with fish designs.
It is a handcrafted, etched, terra cotta clay piece.
The design depicts an underwater scene with fish and bubbles.
The colors are earthy tones, including shades of brown, red, and green.
This style of pottery is a popular collectible from Central America.
Meas 5.5 in T; 4" W; 4" depth; 2.5" rim width.
