Eat in style with this 6 piece set of vintage mid century Wilton serving plates with the iconic "tree of life" pattern, made in the U.S.A. Wilton made these pieces in PA. They were originally intended for carving and serving meat. The "tree of life" pattern is ultra mid century and lovely...but it is also functional! It's depressed design of tree trunk and branches allows meat juices flow to flow into the lower well (large depressed area at the base of the tree). It was crafted from a material called Armetale which looks and feels like pewter. For anyone who loves the look of antique pewter but is concerned about using the real thing (due to high lead content) - you will love these Armetale alternatives. You can enjoy the stunning look while maintaining safe / non-toxic features of this metal.
