Own a unique piece of French maritime history! These are authentic first-class/premiere class breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus from the legendary ocean liner, the SS France. This rare collection of 35 original menus we hold, covering the entire Christmas and New Year's holiday season from Friday, December 20th, 1963, through Wednesday, January 1st, 1964, from the same voyage, (each menu is dated, except breakfast, some include chef recommended pairings). Each menu cover features a vibrant, original modernist artwork by a prominent French artist commissioned by the French Line as part of their famous "floating museum of decorative arts" concept. Each daily menu cover on the ship featured a different artist's work on the theme Flowers and Fruits of France (Fleurs et Fruits de France). The collection also includes the rare Gala Menus from First Class dining Diner De Noel, (Christmas Day) and Diner De Gala, (New Years Eve) and daily breakfast menus.
