One … Read more Original 1960's tall sculptural floor lamp by carlo nason for a.v.mazzega, designed in 1967. There are two lamps available. One with part of the original mazzega label.
the lamp consist of quadruple pulegoso glass spherical shades of descending sizes pulegoso glass creating a ghost like layering effect of champagne bubbles in semi-opaque glass, the glass is hold upwards by a tall a brass stem connected to a hammered steel base. One of the two lamps has part of the manufacturing label attached. These floor lamps in geometry of form are impressive in size and presence. They were designed by the prolific designer carlo nason in the 1960's.
nason known for his use of historical techniques in producing inventive lamps, vases, and sculptures. Driven by his passion for design, especially clean and geometric modern forms, nason focused toward designing glass lighting in a modernist and sculptural style.
