Grilli pinx (it) dal vero', the location Cesena, and the date 1831 (incorrect due to the 8th century instead of the 9th). Paolo Grilli was a painter and art enthusiast from Cesena, who distinguished himself above all for his portraits, in a veristic style. He also created still lifes and landscapes.
