Peaceful scenes from the Flemish city of Bruges captured in the early 20th century and hand-signed as Van Host. While not a listed artist, the views are the same perspectives and era as Alfred van Neste. Superb quality prints with solid plate marks, great detail, rich color, and stamped "Made in France" on the reverse. Foxing of the paper noted but mostly covered by the current matting. Frames have marks as shown. Backing paper has been cut to remove prints for photos. While these are currently protected in vintage frames, the prints were previously trimmed to fit.
Frames themselves measure 13.25" wide by 10.25" high and 1" deep. Trimmed prints each measure 12" wide and 9" high.
