The chairs are designed in a sculptural gondola form, with gently curved side frames that rise seamlessly from the seat to the back, creating an architectural yet comfortable silhouette. Each chair is crafted with solid walnut frames and features bookmatched walnut veneer panels to the back splats, displaying richly figured grain consistent with walnut burl. The contrast between the expressive veneer and the clean-lined walnut structure is characteristic of high-quality Parisian Art Deco production. The set has been fully restored in our workshop. All frames were structurally reinforced, the walnut surfaces carefully refinished, and the seats and backs completely rebuilt. The chairs are newly upholstered in an olive green performance velvet with tailored piping trim, offering durability and comfort for everyday dining use. Elegant, cohesive, and visually striking, this suite of eight chairs works equally well with a period Art Deco table or within a more contemporary interior.
