Made in the art deco style and dated around 1930-1940, the patina is excellent, especially on the base. They are signed "m.a.a." under the base, and the catalog number is also present.

as evidence of our attribution, in the last photos we show a small cup. Note the similarity in decoration. The glaze is also very similar to that of the vases, both in density and color, although slightly darker. The rims are also very similar, but in black instead of brown. The cup is signed "f.a.m.a." (an important manufacturer from ascoli piceno), and the mark "f.a.m.a." stands for "fabrica artigiana maioliche artistiche," so the m.a.a. Mark on the underside of the vases could easily be a very rare early fama mark, meaning "maioliche artistiche artigiane." the fama factory, founded by former employees of the "matricardi" factory, another important manufacturer in ascoli piceno, produced ceramics of the highest artistic quality, extremely rare to find on the market. this piece has an attribution mark,
