Fabulous vitrified majolica vase, entirely hand-crafted on a lathe, glazed, and decorated by hand, with foliage in light bas-relief and a central bird. Made by Bruno Baratti, signed "Baratti Pesaro" under the base, it dates to the first half of the 20th century. The glaze is exquisite, extremely hard and dense. The decorations are extremely unique, all in light relief, created in multiple layers, one slightly above the other for each shade of green, with the bird as the final layer, atop all the other relief decorations. This is an extremely rare and highly prized artistic workmanship. The ceramic biscuit is very thick, the vase is of good size, and the patina covering the object is excellent.
