Item :
A two-handled Murano glass vase, entirely handcrafted with Murrine, unsigned and dating back to the mid-20th century. The two handles, made with large Murrines, are particularly beautiful, truly resembling sugar candies. The vase is unsigned, but in our opinion, it is easily attributed to the work of Ercole Barovier o Toso, especially since Murrine vases are never signed due to the irregular and stepped glass surface, making it virtually impossible to sign them with a diamond-point pen.
This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
