This is a small functional sculpture from the 1980s, made of solid aluminum and shaped like an octopus, which definitely knows how to grab attention. Its eight tentacles spread out radially, creating a stable base while giving the piece a dynamic, almost dance-like rhythm. The candlestick’s form is bold and almost humorous in design.

The piece perfectly reflects the aesthetic of 1980s Scandinavian postmodernism, a time when everyday objects increasingly took on the qualities of small sculptural forms.
