Harput rugs are celebrated for their bold tribal medallions, symbolic geometric layouts, and rich natural color palettes. These two cushions share the same regional weaving language, featuring strong central motifs, stepped forms, and protective symbols traditionally associated with strength, continuity, and prosperity.

Both pieces were woven using hand-spun wool and dyed with natural root dyes, resulting in deep, earthy reds, blacks, browns, and subtle green tones that have developed a beautiful patina over time. The wool remains dense and tactile, preserving the integrity of the original textiles.
