We are selling this charming American school folky landscape painting. This painting features two fishermen in the foreground with their dog with another fisher and a couple of sailboats on the lake. The painting is probably mid-19th century and very folky in regards to the naive scale of the figures, almost in the style of Thomas Chambers with the illumination of the clouds, but we do not believe it by him.
Condition: Central hole with abrasion and some paint loss and flaking.
