Worked in colored silks with a central medallion surrounded by floral sprays, within a narrow border of floral motifs surrounded by a band of floral sprays edged by a further narrow border, bearing a fabric label to one corner verso, 'Ganeshi Lall & Son, Jewelers & Embroiderers, Agra, Simla and 7 Esplanade, Calcutta No 48, Ank 280'. Ganeshi Lall was established in 1845 and the Emporium can still be visited today. 67” x 89.75” See less
