Beautiful black phenolic resin serving tray/hors d'oeuvre plate by Couroc of Monterey, California with an inlaid owl made of various materials such as brass, wood and shells. The owl is perched on a branch. This exquisite tray contains vibrant tones of gold and brown.
Couroc trays are known to be impervious to alcohol, flames, boiling water and cigarette burns. Their products were very popular in mid-century era (circa 1960s - 1970s) and sold in high-end department stores.
Hand wash gently only with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid harsh chemicals abrasive scrubbers. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately with a soft towel. Buff with olive oil to restore shine.
Any tray can serve a drink... Only a Couroc can serve a conversation!
