An oil on canvas painting of the biblical characters Adam and Eve by the Italian artist Luigi Fumagalli (born 1937). The abstract work depicts Adam and Eve in vibrant shades of red, orange, blue, black, white, and brown with green and serpent slithering between them. The work is signed to the lower right corner and displayed in a black wooden frame.
Luigi Fumagalli studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Monza, Italy. Since 1969, Fumagalli has lived in Honolulu and created a unique style blending abstraction and realism in intense colors.
