Dimensions: height 22 cm, width 18 cm, depth 16.5 cm.

The exterior is built up from multiple layers of coloured lacquer that are then polished and reworked. This creates a lively, almost volcanic pattern in warm tones of amber, reddish brown and deep black, with real depth in the surface.

The interior of each tier is finished with a dark, smooth lacquer, forming a beautiful contrast with the expressive exterior. The jubako comes with a simple wooden protective box without lid.

The jubako is in good vintage condition, with natural signs of age along the edges and corners, consistent with its age and materials. The tiers stack neatly on top of each other and can also be used separately.

In an interior this is both a functional and highly decorative object.

Use the compartments to store small items in style: jewellery, writing tools, tea bags, sewing supplies, cosmetics, office accessories or keys and other everyday things you don’t want lying around on the table.
