The influence of the American West is evident for sure! We purchased these drawings from a vintage print collector in Paris. They showcase colors and motifs classic to the western style...then and even now. Indeed, westernwear meets mainstream fashion! These images speak to the modern day cowgirl. Note the reference to "chaps", the long pointed styling, the wide rim hats. The styles feature a bit more design and dazzle. Today's vintage collector pays homage to western wear culture.
