Beautiful, 19th century Dutch landscape oil painting. Signed in the lower right corner, "D. UBAS" or "DUBAS."
I cannot attribute to any particular artist, but the scene is of a Dutch landscape, with a canal and cottage, probably ca mid-late 19th century. This piece is oil on board, and appears to have the original wooden frame, repeatedly painted black. Antique store price tag present.
This is a typical depiction in the style of the Dutch Romantic school period between 1860-1890, which focused on emotional, nostalgic landscapes of village life and seascapes.
