Chinese bronze pixiu handles censer, a finely formed, circular, bronze bowl with straight sides, the intact, original, rich bronze patina. Finely carved pixiu handles flank the body of the censer which is supported by three, elephant-head feet. The rim is decorated with a band of cloud and thunder meanders. A finely carved, Xuande reign mark in kaishu script is incised to the base. The finely carved, traditional, Chinese, hongmu stand is included. Circa Republic of China era or later.
