The original "St. Adrian's Officers Assembly," by Frans Hals is a famous Dutch Golden Age group portrait depicting the celebrating officers of Haarlem's St. Hadrian Civic Guard at their farewell feast, known for its lively, spontaneous feel, distinctive textures (sashes, lace), and individuality, showcasing the era's burgeoning middle-class pride.
Condition: Age related craquelure throughout, some abrasions, light retouches, small punctures seen in upper left corner and upper right near furthest right officer.
