Each sculpture is finely cast with an extraordinary level of craftsmanship: layered plumage, deeply incised feathers and dynamic tails that rise dramatically, creating a striking sense of movement. Their expressive posture – heads bent to the ground as if “pecking” in a garden – gives the pair a wonderfully narrative quality.
