"Jesus permit Thy Gracious Name to stand" verse surrounded by vines and flower decorations as borders to the text. Probably English. Silk embroidery on linen with a drawn thread work border. Newly conservation framed in wood veneer frame with museum glass. Sampler lightly stitched to acid-free mat to compensate for expansion and contraction corresponding to fluctuations in humidity. Sampler 13" high x 11 3/4" wide. Frame 21 1/4" high x 20 1/2" wide overall. See less
