Original 1.25" beveled glass; very heavy.

A close examination reveals repairs and fills to original side mounting holes, leading to attribution as a surviving element of an R.J. Horner and Co. chest, circa 1870-1890.

The mirror features lovely birdseye maple grain (possibly previously painted over in green), original backing, and newer vertical mounting hardware. Original glass is in good antique condition, with assorted losses and marks, a few of which are shown. Doweled corners are solid with the exception of one, which has split ever so slightly as shown, but without any loss of structural integrity on the whole. See less
