This is one of four pairs we have on offer from the same archive - each offering beautiful color and detail, as well as geographical and practical information on the flower.
The tone of the text feels American to our ears, so we believe this would have been an early - and impressive - published collection of native plants and flowers. The four we have on offer are all Eastern United States, which could speak to the age of the edition.
