The Hunt Collection
Late 19th / Early 20th C. original minature paintings - a set of six small scale oils on paper in a single framed presentation.
Equestrian themes, foxes, fine dogs, red coats ("pinks," natch), horses, top hats, and much more.
Together they are a series, as you might expect to find in a set of four to six large scale prints.
English field finery at its best, presented in a single hand cut ivory mat a simple black gallery frame.
30.5" wide by 15.75 tall.
Unsigned above the mat - we have not opened the frame to examine the reverse.
From a VERY fine Middleburg, Virginia estate that might have commissioned this series right on their own property!
