• This elegant vintage porcelain tart or quiche dish features a vibrant hand-painted eggplant (aubergine) design in the center.
• It was produced by Frugier in Limoges, France, using their famous "Aluminite" high-fire porcelain.
• The piece was specially hand-painted by Le Chambrelain exclusively for the luxury New York department store, Bergdorf Goodman.
• The dish features classic fluted edges and a bright white background that makes the purple and green vegetable motif pop.
• Measures 10 1/4" in diameter x 1 3/4" tall.
• It is in very good vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks or scratches. It does, however, have a couple of tiny spots of paint loss in the purple of the eggplant (See last photo).
