This is a Vintage Cast Iron 9” Round Trivet in an Enameled Flame Orange color. The design is inspired by the architectural ironwork found in France.
Two of the three feet have silicone pads to protect surfaces. One of the feet is missing the pad. The trivet is in a Very Good preloved condition with no major chips or scratches.
It features an intricate, open center and a footed (tripod) form that elevates hot cookware to allow air circulation and protect tables or countertops from heat and condensation. It is was made in China as marked on the bottom.
The trivet has a diameter of around 9 inches (22.3 cm) and 1.25 inches tall. It weighs approximately 2 pounds.
