The form features a flared trumpet rim with an applied sculptural gilt handle, modeled in the shape of a traditional basket carrier — a highly desirable and collectible form.
The body is richly hand-painted in vibrant famille rose enamels with finely detailed figural court scenes, florals, and medallion panels, all framed by intricate geometric and floral borders. The interior is glazed in a soft celadon tone, and the exterior is finished with extensive hand-applied gilding along the rim, handle, and foot.
